Exploring the Upcoming iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max: New Cameras Await!

Though Apple aims to develop its camera sensors, leaks from earlier this year hinted at the company’s interest in adopting Sony’s IMX903 sensor. Should the telephoto camera remain unchanged, the Pro Max will sport a rear setup featuring a 48 MP primary camera, a 48 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12 MP telephoto lens.

It seems like Apple will use the 48 MP Sony IMX803 sensor from its predecessor, the 15 Pro model for the iPhone 16 Pro. Ming-Chi Kuo, one of the best analysts who is famous for accurate Apple predictions is confident there will be a 120mm optical zoom capability (5x) for iPhone 16 Pro handset’s Pro model. However, we are yet to know much about alterations made to their telephoto cameras.
